ok, so i was on my way to a party last night and hit a pothole.. hole in my sidewall of my Proxes 4. flat as all hell. so i put on the almight donut which nearly brought me to tears and hit up the party.. i came out about 2 hours later and found a nice little suprise. donuts flat.. it was a wonderful friggan night.

so, i went up to town hall and filed a complaint about the potholes on that one street and said the town should have to pay for my tire.. they told me i ahve to write a letter to the town manager adn wait for the town insurance company to call me back.. its gonna take 4-6 weeks.
do you guys think they'll pay it off for me? i had it appraised at about 135 for the tire and 17 for a mount.

 

bummer to hear about your night. as far as the check from the city, don't hold your breath.

 

Make sure you go back to the site, take as many pictures as possible. Wouldn't surprise me after you complained that they went out and filled it already. Well sounds like you have a fight on your hands, remember when taking on any branch of gov. to you have to have everything well documented. Good Luck
