nice color choice but the hood scoop has to go. That is my opinion. I like the rims, what type are they? Good luck for your future projects for that car.

Personally the Hood Scoop is Golden to me... it complete's the car imo..

that chrome grill & gold emblem are on purpose....
I have this thing against chrome for the moment. Im considering getting the entire grill in gold platting and then putting the gold "MAXIMA" badging on the back again.....

One thing that set the Paint to purple pearl when the real color-name is Blue pearl is the Fact that i laid down a purple dupont primer which changed the finished color...
rome06 : Im in St.Louis MO man.....

Paint cost.....
PPG blue pealcoat & PPG clear $750.00
Dupont ChromaBase200 clear $175.00
Primer and Fiberglass filler $250.00 approx.....

I did all the sanding and body work myself, which is why it took 2 yrs to complete... My cousin and I painted the entire car in 6 hours at the family sign company paint booth....

remember, just my opinions, the paint color is sick!! the hood scoop looks like it doesn't belong, the grill looks out of place with it being chrome and gold (you should get a color matched SE grill), and of course the drop....Other than that, JOB WELL DONE!

If you notice i have posted 2 different threads recently tryin to get all the parts together....
IMO: Droppin it will help, But i need a crapper-car to scoot around in everyday. I cant stand the rough ridding. I use to drive a Mazda truck with 4pumps and 10 switches so that threw my back out and now i like stock rides but.................it will happen..........................very very soon.

Thanks ALL FOR THE COMPLIMENTS. MUCH APPRECIATED. MWest.,

great work, but too flashy of a color IMO

Need some DAY shots.

If thats a gold emblem on the grille it NEEDS TO GO! Maybe its just the lighting

Definitely like the color looks real good, but im on the same boat not liking the hoodscoop. If I had the experience and money would have went with a raised hood instead to fit a 3.5vq with 350z lower and upper manifold with spacer. but thats only a deam of mine. Good work though.

You know, I was thinking the same thing. I have the same color car and have been thinking about a carbon fiber hood but didn't know if it would look right. Now you have me thinking more. Do you know of any that have one?
