slight missing, no DTC codes

My car has been driving a little sluggish lately. It also has a slight missing feeling at low RPMs 800 - 1000. I have done all the regular maintenance recently. Changed spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve - all with OEM parts. Cleaned throttle body and IACV valve, just for the heck of it. Any ideas what else to look into?

Do you use premium fuel? If not, try that. Put some Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner in there too.

A slight miss is ok in an older car. My car misses occasionally but I'm not about to go and change 6 ignition coils so I live with it.

yeah, that is my thought too, either the injectors are the culprit or its the ignition coils and they are both expensive to replace. My car has 79k miles, and I take good care of it. Did not think that either injectors or coils will start troubling at this mileage. I put 89 gas mostly, but then I try 91 from time to time as well. I have tried a few brands of injector cleaners, but the problem persists. I will try chevron techron to see if that makes a difference.

Yah fill it up with some chevron techron, its the strongest one with the highest concentration or so Im told. If that dosnt work you can pick up used coil packs on here.
