that interior is just plain pug fugly. the hood scoop works real well, since umm, it works in conjunction w/ CAI. ummm yea... those speakers look hideous mounted on that back door. those headlights woulda been real real nice if they fit better, but they are still nice and give it a good look.

 

I would rather have a stock 95-96r

 

I like the honda projecter fitment, takes a lot of guts to do that... if only it fitted more properly... no beef... its just a bowl of rice... let it be

 

i just hope he painted the interion right or that **** will start peeling up the first summer. those headlights look like aftermarket for a 240sx or silvia. other than that its too uncle ben's for me.

That front bumper is not that bad, though I'd never waste the effort putting it on my car. The rest of that car makes me want to kill myself via rapid decompression.

 

I think it looks like shiat. I give the guy props for being original but I say, either do it right or don't do it at all. Headlight fitment sucks, as does general quality and cohesiveness...I give it an F for f'in sucks!

 

Thats probably why in the pictures of the car at the car show he had all the unsmooth edges (i.e. along the fenders where the headlights are supposed to be flush but are not and where the bumper meets the fender) covered with a cotton looking material..

I mentioned it before, but just because guys have stock cars doesn't mean they are blind. I have a stock Max, i dont care if i had 100k into mine, that car would still be ugly. Crappy fitment, ugly bumpers, painted interior, it all looks like junk. Props would be given for a functional retro-fit ie one that emmitted more light, better beam patterns etc etc, but just to run angle eyes....... LAME!!!!

I saw this car at Nopi and it looked okay.It's dressed with foam to hide the imperfections. It needs some work, but who's doesn't unless it stays stock. I know I got a ton of stuff to fix on mine. The light fitment needs to be redone, I would cut into the grill some more to bring the outers of the lights flush into the fenders/panels. The rims are real, 19z I believe. Maybe he needs to throw on a wider profile tire with that style rim, that's curb rash city. I think the owner maybe a member of this forum. Maybe it's me but I don't get tired of seeing the red clear stillen kit dropped maxs, they look classy to me.

its so true, why is everyone rippin this guy?? ok i can agree with both sides, i like some parts of the car, and frekin hate other parts, but dont we all strive to be diffrent and make our cars original, unless you like the stock look. but eaither way i think its a nice maxima except for the fact it dosent look like he spent enough time putting it together details, the deth of your car is in the details, and i know my car is not modded but i have only had it since december, and its snows in RI

 

 

this is a funnie thread peeps....as for the maxima with accord headlights.....HONDA ACCORD HEADLIGHTS....i there are some things you dont do to your maxima and if you feel the need to do swaps like that buy a honda instead...ONE MOREEE THING...neva put ur girlfriend in a picture with your car..cuz as you can see shes gettin nothing but bad comments.......car sucks plain in simple....
