It seems there are 2 simultaneous threads going on at the same time that are both discussing the same or similar problems with maxima starting issues. I started one called "Starting problems." There is also one called "starting issues." Lets combine them make it easier to work together to find a solution. It seems like its fairly common among 4th gen maximas.

 

There are hundreds of starting problems/issues whatever you want to call them threads. Read through them first and you might find your answer.
