climate control swat

Hey i have not looked though the whole org for this so i need some help. Does anyone know if you can swat auto climate controls from a 97 to a 98. I have 98 climate control and put LED's in it and it sucks. The other climate control looks great with LED'S, please help or if anyone can show a thread that has led's for the 98 not the 97 thanks.

What's a swat?

I would say it should be a direct swap, assuming you are sticking with auto and not trying to covnert manual --> auto.

Yes 1995-1997 had different climate control unit than Maxima from 1998-1999. They have different button setup and the buttons on the front are different but for the back I am not sure. I have 1996 Maxima with climate control and I know how it looks in the back but I have never seen one from the 1998 Maximas but after you find out keep us posted so that the rest will know for the future.

for digital climate controls (98-99) you need to use wide-angled, wedge-type LEDs. something with 50 degree or more viewing angle to be safe... you can get them on ebay.

wedge type, wouldn't that be the type you put in gauges like a 14 or 74 bulb, not a just straight led bulb?
