Question for those who replased their alt.

Guys i need advise to how to reach lower bolt on alt. should i remove air cond. pump first?
What wrenches do i need i got whole bunch of sockets but no wrenches instead of one witch i just bought(14mm for pulley) can i loose lower and upper bolt using only sockets or i have to buy some more wrenches?
Just dont want to be screwed in da midle of process

Yes, removing the AC gives you the clearence.

removing the a/c is the easiest way in my opinion. once you drop the a/c you have access to that pain in the but bolt, the rest is a piece of cake.

And you should be able to do the whole thing with sockets, especially with a flex head ratchet

You must remove the 4 bolts to the ac compressor and let it drop a few inches, otherwise there isn't enough room to get alternator out. There's also a bracket near the top of the compressor for holding some wires that I also removed. This dropped the compressor another inch and gave me plenty of room to get alternator out.

Thanks for replys guys will try to do everything tomorrow morning.
Does enyone know how long it might take cause i got around 4 hours to get everything done before my shift starts d@mn it.
