Installing Y- PIPE, HEADERS; Need Help!

I am about to upgrade the Y-PIPEs and HEADERS for my 95 gle and 96 gxe this weekend. I know how to install the Y-pipe (its pretty easy because of the write-up in the HOW TOs). The only problem I have is I have no idea on how to change the headers. I will be doing all this on this weekend with my buddy in his garage. SO I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU GUYS WOULD HELP ME OUT HERE WITH STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS AND SOME ADVICES.

THANKS

first off what kind of headers? OBX have a fitment issue where you have to cut away some of the front motor mount bracket to allow one of the pipes to pass thru.

if it's cattman it's basically a direct bolt on no fitment issues whatsoever. remove bolts holding headers and y pipe and reverse of disassembly.

I have no info on hotshot headers so ur on ur own there

you will run into problems trying to get the rear header off, there is virtually no room to work.

good luck

a lift would come in handy for the rear manifold/header since its a pain to get to from the top.....front is pretty strait forward...just takes some time to get too
