what is so bad about it
do the kits cause other problems, like door seals and water leaks

Rice does not belong on a Maxima, it belongs on bowls and plates.

ok honestly i hate ricess and stuff, but lambo doors arent that rice
1. honda owners cant afford the real deal
2.not alot of people have them

If you want them then get them its about you liking it not everyone else. I dont know alot about them but i will research into them and see who the best maker is. I know one thing dont get teh ebay ones they will probably fall off or try to cut your head off which was stated above. About the leaking I think if you have a good kit it should not leak at all because it opens normally then up. Also i have seen a few 4th gens with the lambo wings there is a video i will try to fidn it for you

I truly wonder WTF goes on in somebody's head when they think about putting lambo doors on their max. Did it ever cross your mind that for the dought you'd throw at incredibly dumb ideas like that your car could be stupid fast?

Doesn't anybody care about things that matter like making your car handle better, or making your car faster? But hey, who cares about performance when you're riding around looking retarded with your lambo doors on?

[/Rant] Just throw that cash into a turbo or something. Jesus.

I agree 100% with you, but i had a conversation with my girlfriend last night and she explained to me that chicks dont give 2 ***** about how fast the car is or how good it handles, they just care if it looks nice or not, so maybe thats where this guy is coming from.

My girlfriend would probably ask me what the f*ck I was on when I decided to put lambo doors on my car if I did it. I can't see any sane girl getting turned on by lambo doors. But yeah, nice theory.

If you like it then do it! I personally wouldnt but you have to do what you want. To do it right would be super expensive too.

YOU cant see it, but they think its "cute" and "cool" when its completely retarded. Numerous girls told me that they like cars that stand out from the rest, and having a clean car is not good enough for some, which is sad. BTW this is not my theory.

if u like em then do it. post pics of ur result if u do decide to go with lambo doors.
there really isnt anything ricey about lambo doors imo. we all kno they dont add horsepower (or do they?) but it does set ur car apart from others.

ive had friends convert their doors...and they actually pulld it off as a decent show off. but then there are those morons who cut corners and "ghetto rig" their conversions and in the long run...end up wasting their money and their time.
i wud love to see it on a max. am i going to be the first one to try it out and see what it looks like? hell naw.....

but i wud definitely like to see a 4th gen max with lambo doors.

damnit, someone give me another image hosting site and ill post the pics there

i honestly dont think they look that bad...too gaudy for me, but i can see why someone would want them. Some people like modding the performance on their cars, others like modding the appearance. I cant really knock him for it, just not my style.

while searching for maxima parts and pictures, i did see a black 4th gen with cefiro headlights with lambo doors, at least on the front. it was different. tahts all i can say about it, different. in my own opinion, lambo doors only look right on coupes. do what u want with your money man, but think down the road about aesthetics vs performance and what you would prefer

to each his own.

i personally rather spend money and make my car look good rather than make it faster. im not saying lambo doors make a maxima look good....im still not convinced that they look good on a 4th gen. i wud like to see it...but its not something id spend my money on for my next cosmetic mod.

look okay ill try to post some pics of my friend in canada who had the entire back seat taken out of his 5.5 gen max and 10" speakers put in and had the back doors welded shut and filled in/ repainted etc. and virtually made into a coup sure it was longer but it actually looked pretty cool and i was damn skeptical and he has lambos in a sense but they open like a DeLorean. I would reconsider your options on your part though but thats my opinion. (the doors were custom btw.) I still think a max is a foor door sedan and it should look classy so strip that thing and make it fast then if you're stil worried about making it look sharp do that.

later

if your dressin up your ride for the ladies in the first place you guys need some serious help.

lambo doors aren't my cup of tea, but the lambo door scene is definetly growing. and if you like then do it. its your car people will knock you, especially people on here, but its your style and car.

http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...ors-usat_x.htm

Also I would suggest seeing if the company mentioned in the article (vertical doors) would make you a kit.

Don't do it. Waste of money and time. I seen universal kits from 2000-3000 dollars. I rather save taht for a turbo or something better.

Look past the haters as they are just uncomfortable with nonconformity.

Logic however should save you from making this mistake.

Questions you should ask yourself:

A.) What's done to your car so far. If this is the first major mod, it'd be wise to look at doing more with less $.

B.) Do you plan to show it? The doors may be non-conventional for every-day use. Especially if they are not installed just right.

it's all up to you man, but IMO...It'd be the VERY LAST mod if that on my own Max. Use the money of a pricey lambo kit and put it something more practical...

suspension upgrade?
turbo?
new wheels & tires?
