rear end squat question

rear end squat question
when i accellerate hard in my 98 GXE auto maxima, the rear end squats and the front raises up like 2 inches. Are my rear shocks and struts bad? or is this common. i have 2 10 inch subwoofers in the trunk that add weight also, but i didnt think it be that much. Also, sometimes when i park it, the back looks low and the front high, but just sometimes. thanks guys.

It'll never go completely away. If you upgrade to aftermarket springs, it'll be less noticeable due to thier stiffness. The only way to compensate for the saggy *** would be to pick up a set of coilovers.
edit: It's not normal for the nose to lift 2" under acceleration. Everything out back is probably worn/weak.

my rear struts and shocks could be worn, i bought the car at 128,000 miles and it now has 133,100 miles (which is low for a maxima). i dunno if they have ever been replaced, when do you normally replace shocks/struts? also, could i buy the shocks and struts from a SE and put those on my GXE because the SE has a better handling suspension?
