Rusting

I live in Guelph, Ontartio Canada so in the winter they use a sh** load of salt on the roads. Im starting to get rust on the left wheel well, drivers door near the bottom and on the right hand window area. Im trying to debate whether or not i should get my SP2 or if i can use that money to repair all the rust. How much does getting rust removed cost ? or should i just get my SP2 then worry about the rust since it is spring in like 1 month.
Any feed back would be good

I have an out of state 96 I30t. The under carriage is totally rusted out. I'm talking about everything from the radiator mounts to the frame to the screws that hold the plastic covers in place under the engine. There's VERY little rust forming on the bottom of my doors. So far it hasn't been a problem for me, I've got 125K miles on the car...I'm sure it'll keep going strong for another 3 - 5 years if I wanted to keep it that long. I've got a magnaflow muffler and Y pipe on there, which were hard to put on due to the rust on the exhaust system to begin with!
