Ok guys here it is, I have the honey comb stock rims and I HATE them so a buddy of mine has one of those 300m, the rims are 17in with 2 toyo proxces labout 80% tread on them and the other 2 have brand new nittos on them they are in almost perfect condition and only $200, what do u you guys think, chrysler rims on a max? It would be diff. but it would be weird? they do look good on the car! please leave me some feed back.
And i went to canada this week i drove up there, 650 miles from my neck of the woods and 650 back not only did my car run like a champ i got get this no bullsh*t 30 miles per gallon

They will look better than the honeycombs, that's for sure. Are you certain that they fit?

 

ya cause he has 20's on the 300m, but his brother had a cream coller max that he f*cked up bad, that they were on, so after the wreck he made him give them back, and i know they will look better but, will it look weird,? i dont know. i saw them on the other max and they looked pissa

What's the tire size on those 300 rims? My Dad used to have a 300M, and I recall the tires having a much taller sidewall than the maxima, which would throw your speedo and odometer off.

I agree it wouldn't be the greatest look, but if anything you can sell them and maybe make a bit of profit.

 

IMO i hate them. They look like they belong to an escalade or something of that type. Profit idea is a good one like everyone else is saying.

First make sure they fit. Then buy them if they do fit. Try them on the car and if you don't like them take em' off and sell them on ebay for more $

these tires are low profile 17's i will get you guys the tire size 2day, so if i put these rims on and they are low profile 17's it will throw of my spedo? also thanx to all of you guys with the photo shop, i realy do think that they will look good and i am prob going to buy them and like you guys said if i dont like them, i will just flip them for more.

 

The closest tire size in a 17" would be a P215/50R17. Only 2-3 revolutions per mile difference.

 

I don't like them. They make the car look Matchbox. Personnally I wouldn't buy them even to sell them. Who has time for all that?

I agree with buyin them and sellin them. If you want rims get a drop first. No set of rims, in any size, will look good on a maxima without a drop.

like everyone else is saying, 200 is so cheap you might as well. id sell the combs then and break even.

 

they look better than what you have but if you are going to get some wheels, save up some more money and get better looking ones.

+1 on the buying and selling, don't even put em on. They look like crap at first glance, and not much better at second.

I just picked up some 300zx rims and 2 brand new tires for $150 (picked up, amazing deal). Buy that ish and sell it, get some other used OEM rims. I personally really like the 300zxs, but I think it's a bit of an acquired taste.
