Head gasket

I was looking into the stickies for instructions how to replace Head Gasket and could not find any
did anyone write any instructions about how to??

Have you done much mechanical work on the engine before? Replacing the head gaskets isn't the toughest thing in the world, but it sure ain't pretty.

You'll need a few more gaskets as well, unless you plan on reusing the old ones, which is a...bad idea. You'll need intake plenum, valve cover, just to name two.

Basic instructions:

1) Take the entire top end of the engine apart.
2) Clean all the mating surfaces
3) Put it all back together with new gaskets.

You're gonna need an engine gasket kit at the very least. Part # 10101-2L925.

I would also check the heads and block for warpage, and use new head bolts.

Cost of gaskets/parts/labor/time for HG replacement > the cost of just putting in another low miler used engine. IMHO anyway

Why are your head gaskets blown? VQ's are not common at all to pop head gaskets
