what is the top speed of my 99 max auto also is the 5 speed faster if no one knows is there a way to find out if you have a governor like an engine code somewhere or something. my car hesitates on slow acceleration sometimes i've changed the oil and filter fuel filter plugs with bosch platinum + 4's pcv filter used 94 octance replaced 2 o2 senors out of four and theres no engine code and ideas as to what the problem could be?

If you want to know if you have a govenor, drive the car and see if it custs the pump cuts at 116mph.

I was told by the dealer not to install some Bosch spark plugs on any Nissan car...maybe it's part of a probleme but, for the governor, drive faster than 116 mph and you'll know....

If you have an SE then you have no speed limiter. As for hesitation my guess might be coil packs.

if you want to go past 125 in an auto you have to take the overdrive off you can get up tp 130mph then cut it back on at 130mph then it will shift into 4 gear, but you might not have enough power because of the lack of top end the stock 4 gens have after 120 mph it get slow if you want top end swap your intake manifold for a 2000 vi or mevi and an ecu upgrade

You just asked three stupid questions all in one long sentence, not to mention they are all answered in these threads probably half a dozen times a day.

Read the FAQ's and you will know that bosch are no good.
To answer what looked like a question referring to hesitation... sounds like it might be coil packs, or a locked up torque converter.

If its an auto that might have something to do with the hesitation...
