Vehicle Speed Sensor-Where to by?!

Ok I cant find it on ANY website.. When I call Autozone or Advance Auto parts or Napa AND the dealer, they all have to order it.. I couldnt find it at nissancheapparts.com or whatever that site is, or oemautoparts.com, or ANYWHERE!!! Does anyone know where I could find this part in stock? Maybe another dealer?

been there, done that...

I just had to replace mine - kind of a PITA. I had to order mine from Autozone - they got it in only a couple of days. Looked all over the place and no where else stocked it.... good luck!

a few months back, my check engine light came up with 3 codes out of no where. 1: knock Sensor 2:VSS 3: Serial Com Link I replaced the VSS unit, in an attempt of a elimination process, and all three codes still come up. I read on consumerguide.com that if the check engine light comes up for a knock sensor, the common problem is a faulty on-board computer. Can anyone help me out, letting me know what exactly is causing this? Has anyone experienced this problem? ...and what is a serial com link?

Thanks but Ive already tried that site and cannot find a vehicle speed sensor, even if i type "sensor" in the search for broader results.. All I see is abs speed sensor/02 sensor/any other sensor that is not a VSS..
But I already ordered it anyway..
Christtheknite- Did you notice a significant increase in driveability/performance when you replaced it?? I have a feeling that, and my 02 sensors (even though theres no code for them) have something to do with my lack of power that ive been experiencing..
