new 5th gen clutch installed. how to adjust

i just finished my installation of my 5th gen clutch and pressure plate. but now that im done im noticing that the clutch picks up just off the floor and only travels a 2 or 3 inches before fully engaged. leaving more then 3 quarters of the rest of the travel doing nothing. how can i adjust this?

there is an adjustment bolt near the firewall at the top of the clutch petal, its pretty far up in there, get out a flashlight and adjust it until you like where its at, you'll see how to do it once you look up in there

when i adjust this will it allow the clutch pedal travel to control the clutch engagement throughout the whole travel of the pedal?

it will let you control where the clutch engages at. I don't think there is any way to make the engagement throughout the whole clutch pedal travel

no. its gonna adjust where the clutch engages. whether it be at the floor, or half way theres no way that i know of to make the clutch engage throughout the whole travel of the pedal. who would want that anyway? you want it to engage as quickly as possible.

once you adjust ur clutch pedal where you want it, your cruise control might not work.
