I have a strange noise that I cant place what its from. The car makes a strange "rubbing" noise when its moving and when when I put pressure on the shifter it increases. For example if it is in first and I press to the left or right it gets very loud. This is all with the stock shifter. I just installed a B&M sort shifter and its there all the time. I checked the fluid in the transmission and its fine. Do you have any ideas? It sounds like the shifter forks are rubbing against something...or I could be totally off.
