Mods that increase low end torque?

What mods can I do to increase the low end torque of my maxima? Most of the popular mods like the y-pipe, intake, and catback seem to increase the topend and give little power below 4k rpms. I was thinking a udp would help a little and an 00vi would probly help out my whole rpm range a lot. What other options are there out there to improve the low end?

There aren't many, that's pretty much where our cars already excel. Like you said, an UDP would help a bit, and the 00vi would help a decent amount, but other than that there isn't much... well, besides a supercharger or a 3.5 of course.

When you say "low end" what exactly do you mean. 2k rpm's 3K rpm's....?

If your talking lower than 3k then there is not a whole lot you can do. Lower end torque is gonna be more dependent on your displacment.

Most NA mods your gonna see are designed around increase air flow at higer rpm's. Which won't do much for you in below 3K.

A SC certainly won't do much for low end torque.

To see real gains in low end torque a smaller turbo could do it.

buy a q45 but yea like others said no real mods to increase low end torque. UPD has extremely minimal gains pretty much unoticable so i wouldnt waste the money

The very mod you can do to your car is weight reduction. Besides increasing fuel economy and making it easier on your drivetrain, taking your max from 3000 lbs to say 2800 lbs will really give you the extra low end your looking for.

Of course you can do that AND throw a 3.5 in it. :mod:
