I'm looking too. I'll keep you updated if I find one.

Did you try Pepboys?

Do you want the rotors resurfaced, or some material actually milled for some sort of clearance issue? Not to be picky, but the term is "turned" on a lathe, if they are to be resurfaced, and not "milled". I've been pummelled with the terminology, since I'm trained as a machinist. If you ask about milling a rotor, you'll get a blank stare...

I agree, the terminology used will make all the difference in the world. Most shops can turn or lathe. But we need the milled, so serious amount of meterial will need to be taken off.

a machine shop is best, its just finding a good one thats the problem.

regional section would be better for this thread, that way pepole who do have a place for us, are in the same state/city as us.

he doesn't want the surface turned he wants the diameter of the rotor cut down.

i had mine done at a random auto repair shop. any machine shop can do it.

Any machine shop should be able to do it. Key word is "should" I have a feeling they are not understanding what you are asking, or are busy and could car less about a small job like yours. I took my rotors to a local shop and dropped them off, asking if I could get them back in a few weeks. They were happy to do them and charged $50, it did however take a few weeks for them to complete the job. look around for a smaller shop in your area, you might have better luck there. The larger shops may blow you off, since there is no real money to be made in your job. They are going to stick to larger jobs that make them real money.

i though about that, but thats why i am asking for a chain shop here that might do it. Have you tried the Napa machine shop? I dont have the time to go up there.

I did ask at pep boys. they dont do that. I remember Ramius83 telling me of a shop, but that was a looong time ago.
