Whats the difference from my friends maxi engine in his 93 and my 96 maxi...they sound totally different..just wanna know what they changed ? thanks

They are completely different engines. Look at the .org faqs if you really want to know the differences.

What did they change? Everything. In fact the '93 GXE and '93 SE had different engines. Both were 3 liter V6 engines, but they were different.
