Windshield HELP

Hey, due to a nice problem with a socket stuck in a spark plug hole, I now have a crack in my window (my fat a$$ thought it could get more leverage by sitting on the windshield). the car's fine now, but i'm in need of a new windshield. I have a parts car sitting in my garage with a perfect condition windshield. is it hard to swap? or should I just buy a new one....also, how would they transfer my inspection sticker?

Thanks in advance,
-Freddy

Why buy one when you have one?I would let a pro do it since there easy to crack. Theres places in my town that will come to you and change a winshield. I would see if someone in your area does that. Have them take both windshields out and put the good one in the other car.

Yeah unfortunately that's one thing you can't do yourself. Not that I've ever tried it but I've never seen anyone in real life or on these forums do it. I've had it done twice though. Cost me about $100-$250. That's with buying a new windshield though.
