Goodbye Maxima.org

Just wanted to say thank you to all of the contributors on this board.

I may not have posted very many times, but I visited often for information and tips on how I could get more out of my car.

I just sold my car to it's happy new owner with mixed emotions. I owned the car for 7 good years and I still enjoyed driving it.

I am moving on the BMW boards. I just bought a 2006 330i. I'm already sliding down the slippery slope. I just orders wheels and tires with the proceeds from my Infiniti.

Cheers to all.

Tim

I, eventually, will be moving on aswell after a short stint with a 4th Generation Maxima. I plan on buying an Acura TSX and moving on to TSXClub.com.

I think I've made it this long without figuring out how to post a pic.

Now you're going to make me on my last day?

Is there a way to insert one or do I need to host it somewhere.

Or if someone wants me to e-mail it to them I can do that.

It's just a stock BMW in the photo. New wheels not on it yet, and the car has some dirt on it. I just snapped one photo while I was shooting the I30.

Good luck with the BMW. Very nice ride indeed.

Also a very nice choice in the rim department. BBS

You definintely want to sign up for The Ultimate Driving Event when it comes around again. That's the only sane way you can find out what the E90 is capable of--with BMW's cars and Bridgestone's tires (which are changed every 50 miles at the event). The professional driving instruction helps quite a bit. It's amazing that the car has so little power (especially torque, it's like a 2k Maxima) by today's standards, is so unassuming in looks, but an absolute monster in the handling dept. On your 19's, are you still doing 255 rear 225 front setup? You get the active steering? I've never driven one without and curious.

Even though a Subaru, Mitsubishi, etc. can toast the E90 by about 1.2 sec to 60, you'll find out the 330 probably has the best handling of any car on the road for under 47k....

Would like to own a bimmer some day. I am happy with my 95 Maxima and will continue to improve that until I get my dream car.
