Camber bolts with Ground Controls?

Which camber bolts are recomended for a Ground Control set up. I plan on lowering the car enough to need camber bolts. What would you guys recomend. This 1995 is a daily driver that I drag race every once in a while, and it sees some spirited driving.

I have read a bunch of threads on here and I have seen some common reponses. Such as the camber bolts breaking. Is there any truth to this, that they are more likley to break than the stock bolts? Also most people that asked about them were only putting them on non adjustable coils so there was really no need for the camber bolts. I am planning on lowering the car enough to need some sort of after market camber correction, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't touch a camber bolt with a 10-foot pole, but if you absolutely need camber correction, I'd go with camber plates.

I'm lowered on tein coilovers and the alignment technician was able to align the camber and toe within spec just fine. I wouldn't worry too much.

whats so bad about camber bolts?

I dont have them because I have D2s, but I did an alignment on a maxima a while back that had camber bolts and they were easy to adjust.

Would you think drilling out one of the holes in the strut would allow enough play to get the camber correct? That would still be using the stock bolt to adjust the camber. I know the camber plates are better, but I am just looking for something cheaper than 350 for a set that will be safe for my style of driving.

re-reading everything...

you havent bought your suspension setup yet, correct?

if you want camber plates, just buy D2s, because, GCs + struts + camber plates will equal the price of D2s or Ksports, or be more. Either just buy true coilovers, or go with the setup you currently want and get camber bolts.

The K-MAC ones look pretty beefy, but they require you to enlarge you to enlarge the top hole of the front struts. Kinda pricey at $110 i think, but they do use aerospace grade bolts and are a lot cheaper than plates.

I am trading someone for the GC's so its no extra out of pocket cost. I already have D2s on my 98, the GC's will go on my 95. I realize that the D2's or similar coilovers would be better but that is also another 800 dollar out of pocket cost to me, so I am not looking to go that route. I am just looking for suggestions on camber bolts or something cheap to get my camber correct once I am dropped on the GC's...but is sounds as if I may be able to get the correct camber setting with out using the bolts.
