Are the lights beside the headlights classified as the "corner light" or "sidemarker" because i got some piaa superwhites and they look stupid because the lights beside them arent as bright as the headlights

Cornering lamp

Im pretty sure the light youre talking about is the cornering light, youre talking about the one that comes on at night(when you have your lights on) when you put your blinker on right ?

yeah , it is connected to the headlight. but its like a separate section of the front headlight assembly... the lens looks like it is a little bit rougher than the actual headlight, im pretty sure we are talking about the same thing.those are cornering lights... side markers are the ones down in the bumper ( the orange things )

clearance lights or corner lights...the lights right next to the headlights call them what you want but they are right next to the headlights...the manual calls them "clearance" lights

I'm reading my 96 manual. The cornering/clearance light is a two filament bulb assembled in one lamp housing next to the headlight. Wattagw is 27/8 and bulb No. is 1157. I know starting some year, maybe 1997, Nissan deleted cornering light.

I always assumed that the ones next to the headlights were clearance lights, and the ones next to the turn signals are corner lights.
