Yea i cant go to that meet. Its about 3k miles away. If you know any of them ask the what the ride is like and the handling. I dont want a car that bounces everywhere but i also dont want a car that is to rigid. Thanks

I love them. I wasn't looking for hardcore autocross ability but wanted more height adjustability than the illuminas offered. Ride is certainly stiffer than stock but I don't think it's terribly harsh.

luckily i got a hold of some prototype SS's so i've got dampening adjustablility. i figure the Basic's would be like mine at the middle setting or 8th click. at 8 there nice on good roads. jump on a bumpy road and your all shook up. i've got mine at the lowest setting and it makes riding over bumps much nicer but understeer is more common under hard corners. i also have stillen camber plates on top, but i haven't tried any agressive camber settings yet.

ive got the tein basics installed on my 98 max ... they are freaking awesome ... ive riden on Ksports and the spring rates are way to stiff, uncomfortable ride in my opinion...... the Teins are preset to the perfect dampening rate in my opinion ... most of us maxima drivers are just looking for a nice drop and a better handling ride .. they are perfect for the street and im sure would perform well on the track as well ... after you get the coilovers all set to how you like it(height/dampening)..how many times do you really think your gonna go back and change it ? i see no need for dampening adjustments, but thats a matter of opinion ... I think D2's and Ksports are too stiff ... Tein basics are great, period ... installed atleast for 8 months, no problems ! .. great ride, great drop, and great handling .. 2 thumbs up for these well tuned japanese coilovers

My car is not stiff AT ALL, maybe the person yu rode on didnt set it right. Ksports handling are alot better, cuz i drove my friend TEINS Basic on the RSX, handling just lil better than my KYB AGX w/ TEINS S-tech. THat in my opionion, but no offend, TEINS are good, only i would buy if it was dampening adjustable or SUPER STREET were made for Maxima, i would definitely go for TEINS.
