I am about to get clear Altezza tails on my 97. What do you guys think of them. Yah or Nay?

Haha, MaxGTR, i agree they are pretty brokeback. Add another vote for the red/clears, you can even do it yourself since you are a 97. It is in the stickies, go for it

 

They were on my mx when I first bought it...What do you think was the first thing to go? Red/clears look eleventybillion times better...

If you want altezzas, at least get the Gen2's like K-Town said. I personally prefer red/clears over all options. In the end, it comes down to whatever you like and want; it's your car after all.

 

where is the write up to get the orange film out of the tail light?

 

it's your car, do what you like. I wouldn't do it to mine though.

Red/Clears all the way! They make the car look so much cleaner, whereas altezzas give you that "pimped out Honda look".

 

LMAO @ God punishes you I think that would change a lot of peoples mind. Redlinemax.com has them but on the site it says that they are out of stock anyone else know where I can purchase them or is the orange film mod better

 

Im still undecided. But bith sides look pretty cool. I have a cracked passanger side trunk tail light, and thats why i thought to get Altezza's if i was going to replace them anyway. But more input doesnt hurt. Ill let you all know my decision when ones made. Thanks

 

the input here is only gonna go towards red/clears...take ur car color into consideration too...

 

heres mine. i like em way better than the damn gen 1 altezzas. i had red/clears before these and liked them too. its a question of what you want. do what you want to your car. i dont think my car looks ricey or hondaish at all. i like altezzas on white cars.

I LOVE the generation 2 - LED tail lights. The only reason I don't have them is that my car is a '95 and they won't fit.

What I think would look good on those is to say 'screw the reverse lights', wire the turn signal to where the reverse light is supposed to go, and have the center of both LED circles flashing when you signal.

 

that would be sweet. maybe i could make the sidemarkers into reverse lights

the only thing i dont like about em is how they buldge out. its weird.

On a 97, YOU ARE THE EPITOMY OF RICE!!!!! My 96 had them while I was awaiting my David L Red Clears. The Custom Enterprise 95/96 red clears still look nasty to me.

 

Thats on my 96 prior to my David L's that cost me almost $300 for a 96 red/clear. 97-99 have it made. They look ugly!

 

Haha i like them too K-Town... what color is your max? To me that makes a lot of difference. I drive a black one and have the all black altezza's i really like them

I like the red/clears, like 95% of the people on here do, altezza's do look better on white cars, and yes this thread makes me laugh, i remember when these started coming out, it was pimpin fo sho!

 

my car is white, and i have teh chrome altezza GEN 2s with LEDS. i like em a lot on white cars (thankyou for backing me up kasey). it would be sweet to do that reverse light conversion thou.

The other 5% is from the 95-96 group awaiting real red/clears. Sorry Custom Enterprise, your clear headlight fit my 97 fine although you can tell my grille is a bit higher but he!!, its better than my old yellow 97 headlights. Really though, your 95-96 red clears are a joke.

 

Come back and im sure it will be better. Just remember the F5!

I mean, i really would like to discuss the port polish and stroke and bore increase on his maxima, i wonder if he even knows that it is a VQ30DE, probably not, to him im sure its a V6 3000 friggin yo!

absolutely disgusting, you couldnt pay me enough to put them on my car. they look hideous and ugly, all types and all cars, none of them look good, i dont know what people are thinking when they say it looks good, i think its the ugliest mod you can do, besides a giant wing, i would say they actually tie for ugliest mod
