How to mount stillen front lip? Anyone have close up pics??

I need to mount my stillen front lip tomorrow. Does anyone have any close up pics of the sides where they meet the fenders? I need to know how far up the fender to mount them. How did you guys mount them? I am going to put one screw on each fender and use double sided tape in the middle.

Thanks

No, probably different mounting.

I was told use double sided tape on the entire thing..mount it up then use some self tapping screws on either side to secure it.

Ill be doing mine in a month or two

Here is a pic. It was mounted with double sided tape in the front and tapping screws for the sides. It's the Ionic Lip. If those aren't good enough I can snap some this afternoon and post.

I know exactly how to mount the lip, I just do not know know exactly WHERE to mount the god damn thing. I want this to look perfectly level and even on the beater. Exactly where on the fender of the beater should I mount the sides of the lip? Anyone have close up pics of their beater??

if you drill holes like i do, you guys can just take it off and on really easy , andwhenever you want. If you can post up pics how the STILLEN lip look like, then i'll see if you can do like i did.

Kingrukus, if you don't plan on taking it off, I would use rivets...the world is full of thieves that would love to know that all that is holding it in place is 2 screws and tape.

That true, but as i already told you, it take me 30 sec or even less just to take it off/put it bac on. So before go sleep, dun be lazy and take it out and put it in the garage. And i have coilovers, so i try to make it the most convenience as possible, so i can jack my car up easily since its low.

I mounted mine like azn_s3nsation87. Into the back of the fender. I would use double sided on the front.

OK finding WHERE to mount it was easier than I thought. There is a grove in the lip that fits in the bottom groove of the fender, so you just need to feel for it. Lip is on and the beater looks awesome.

Black Maxima, i think you should spray paint the duct tapes the same color as your car, so it wont stand out.

Thats a nice looking max but the duct tape is crazy!! The paint on the bumper must be jacked up now!

I have mine bolted on by two bolts only- no double sided tape- and its real sturdy!

Fitment was right on, no issues. I was the test vehicle so we made sure that everything lined up perfectly. Jose @ Ionic did an incredible job with that lip and the fitment is great. I believe someone did have to do a little sanding bu it wasn't much.

I saw a 95-96 front w/ the 97-99 front lip, look pretty nice if it done correctly.

Your crazy, do you think I actually drove around with that on? I was just test fitting it. It's a 97 lip and I have a 96 bumper.

Thanks for the compliment. I like yours too. The paint is already bad on my car, so it doesn't make a difference. HAHAHA

This one will fit correctly.
