didn't take me too long, maybe about 30-45 minutes. The hardest part is sticking your hand under the IM and threading it on there. I hope you have small hands and have a pain tolerance.

Also before you go and change the sensor, check your ground. I boughta KS while having an 0304 KS code. Just yesterday I changed my spark plugs and afterwards looked at my knock sensor worried about my future bloody hands. So as per the KS write-up via motorvate.ca I sanded and cleaned the KS ground and contacts. Checked my KS tonight and voila! I got an 0505 code.. the best you can get No problems.

Long story short, clean your ground connection for the KS (mine didn't even look bad) before you replace it

I replaced my own KS. Took about an hour, but I had to leave to get a swivel adapter so that I could take off the bolt on an angle. Actual work only took 15 mins or so, and it was my first time doing it. Mechanic wanted like 100+ to change it cause he had to take off the manifolds he said... i was like no thanks ill do it myself. It was easy with the swivel adapter and a long extender to get in there. Hardest part is putting the new KS into place.

Ok, OFF TOPIC
Why can't I post new threads? I have a Q to pose about my max and just tried to start a new thread. It says I can't.... any clue?? Sorry I'm off topic, but I can't figure this out!
