y-pipe install, do I need to lube the gaskets?

y-pipe install, do I need to lube the gaskets?

Is there anything I put on the gaskets to make a better seal or do I put them in dry? Oh yea this is a budget y-pipe, thx.

..no lube necessary! but if you have Wurth high-heat exhaust sealer (red), use it.. it ****** pwns!! if not, dry is lovely..

No lube necessary but make sure to use new gaskets as these are crush gaskets that cannot be reused.

sometimes I like to lube it up to get that tighter fitting, all nice and deep like.

is crush gasket just the metal thin pieces? cause the gaskets are more cushiony . but between my y pipe and cat they were just thin pieces.
