97 se obx headers and down pipe install

...where to start right? Well first, headers are a bizzach to work with. next while installing the front header i had to remove a huge chunk of the motor mount in order for it to fit. ok not a problem right? next, i have to cut a little chunk out of the rear motor mount for the rear header to fit.(Pics and sound clips coming soon). next egr valve and line is shot so that is all blocked off. The REAL hard part (unless you've got a welder or can do magic) once everything is in place I'm screwing in the o2 sensor on the rear header well i was going to until the axel mount on back of the motor was in the way (i wonder if a company is that stupid to made three fitment errors. Everyone who orders one must make a complaint right). well my car is still sitten up on jack stands but i had to plug up the whole and fire it up so i could hear it. I have to admit it does sound nice but will definitly not run right or idol with out the o2 sensor. any body have any ideas besides welding? i swear there is no other ones.

Ive heard of similar fitment issues.

My only idea would be to plug it, and cut and weld a new bung in a different place in order to clear the mount. Or cut the rear mount a bit to clear the O2 sensor itself

What part number would you order if you have a 4th gen ?? On the hot-shot website they only have headers listed for 02-03. http://www.hotshot.com/product_hotshotheader.htm

just get 02-03 headers.. they fit a 4th gen, although you need to have a egr tube welded into the rear exhaust header.

I had obx headers that i was going to install on my 97, i took one close look at them and said hell no. the collector or y pipe section is too small.. It's less than 2.25" in diameter. It should be atleast 2.5". Also cutting the motor moutns? wtf, that's a no no.. It would also be a good thing if they were equal length, but they're not... these are a POS..
