Doing my Y Pipe today

is there anything i should know about taking the o2 sensors out and cleaning them? how about bolts/nuts/gasgets. couldnt find the FAQ and i cant search because im a noob so help me plz.

It's the 4th gen how-to's

If it's new, the nuts/bolts/gaskets should be included, if not use NEW gaskets and take the old bolts to a hardware store and get new ones.

I say if your 02 sensors work just swap them over, no cleaning.

BTW just donate if you want to search, nothing to do with being new.

ok looks like i cant do it today. no parts store has the gaskets i need so i will either order them or visit a dealership on monday

BTW it would be a good idea to reset the ecu after the install. A lot of people that put in a y-pipe say they don't feel the gain right away which also happened to me. After I drove around for a few days I started to notice it getting more and more power. If you reset the ecu, you might feel the gains sooner. Just a little tip in case you have the same issue.
