Suspension

I need to replace my struts/shocks & springs. Now for the struts/shocks I will be going w/Tokico Illuminas, the springs should I go w/Illumina kit or Eibachs?

I will be putting 18's on, so I would like a nice drop! I'd like to hear from people that have both set-ups!

Thanks,
Geo T

I've gone to that site but, some of the springs may have a little more or less of a drop than stated. I may go w/Tokico kit, but how much of a gap will I have w/stock wheels & 18's?

Eibachs will handle better.

Illumina kit springs will ride better.

I've heard good things about Illumina Kit, just wondering if the drop will be low enough? I'm not looking for anything to crazy, just something with a nice ride. With the Illumina shocks I can adjust the ride, but would it be better w/Eibach or Tokico springs?

You can adjust damping on the Illuminas, yes, but that doesn't give you FULL control over the ride quality. Even with adjustable damping, softer springs will ride more smoothly.

Hence... Eibachs handle better, Tokicos ride better.

Drop-wise they're about the same. Just look for pics with those setups to see if you like them.

Just FYI, if you're looking to go lower than either of those, the best thing to do is to give up having a smooth ride and just get coilovers.
