Guys that went to ES Motor Mounts

Well I brought my mounts to have them pressed out and have the NEW ES Motor Mounts pressed in. I left them with the shop and told him whenever he can get them bakc to me, is fine. I wasnt really in a rush. About a week later he droppes them off at my house with the old cracked rubber in the box with the new ES mounts pressed in. He didnt even cut the ring out. When he pushed out the old rubber, the entire metal ring came with the rubber and it came out as once peice, NO cutting at all. I havent talked to him to thank him but I thought that ring needs to be CUT out. Looks really clean with the new mounts, Im really happy

I just thought I would share this for anyone dropping their mounts off to be pushed out

You will love the ES mounts. One of the best things I did for driveability.

i need to have some of these installed. They are supposed to be pressed out. The way most org members do it by burning and cutting out the ring is the "getto" way but it works. Not too many places have the capability to press out bushings that big.

I think the reason we cut ours out is because we do not have hydraulic presses at our houses. So a way to save money is to do the work at the house and then take the mounts and inserts to a shop just to have the new mounts pressed.
