I'm going to do my brakes pretty soon. I went and got price quotes at the nissan dealership. They are asking 54$ per front rotor and 60 per rear and 52 and 39 for pads.
At first i thought they were decent prices for the quailty and then i saw the group buy for the rotors on here and i said screw OEM. So i'm going to get Brembo blanks. for aleast half the cost almost. Now i don't know which pads to go with since there are so many.
My driving styles and needs goes as followed, i'm a more or less easy going driver. Not tail-gating or anything. Very rarely do i stomp on my brakes. I'm a mainly city driver. So i'm just looking for something to get decent amount of grip. i'm not a racer or do i do anything that requires high performance stuff. Just looking for all around decent pads.

i dont know brands very well but i can help you out by saying this:
if you are looking for a pad that doesnt squeek a lot you want to get a pad that is made of softer material. autozone pads dont qualify as soft material. OEM pads on the other hand usually do. there may be other brands of pads that are good and made of softer material but like i said, i dont know brands. of course, most pads do squeek when first being broken in.

Just a short review. Don't get the Friction Master Ceramic pads from AAP. They DO squeak. The dust worse than oem. The fade like you would not believe(dangerously in my opinion), and I generally have regretted ever letting them touch my car. Coworker talked me into them. I went back to OEM and haven't had any trouble since.
i've actually used another generic store brand pads on my other car. and they have worked out great. $10 per rotor and 15$ for pads, i loved them so much becuase i was on a budget back then and the never let me down. No problems.
But now that i have a little more money to spend, not enought to spend on OEM but enough to get a step up from generic stuff i was just looking around. Axxis deluxe stuff is what i'm looking at. Not too many reviews on it. In this case i might just go OEM pads but i'm not 100% sure.

i bought a set of RTP slotted/dimple rotors and then went to kragen and bought a set of Satisfied ceramic pads...i never heard of Satisfied before but they were about $35 for fronts and same for rear...no squeak after a week, not sure about dusting just yet.
