Need new shocks

My rear passenger side shock is broken so I'm going to replace both rear shocks. Just wondering if there's a real difference between different shocks out there and which ones I should get for spirited driving for under $50/ea. Thanks.

Alright, what are good, fairly cheap shocks then? What do you recommend?

you can get some good KYB g2 gas shocks for like 65 dollars each. total cost of nearly 130 for both. its a real easy do it yourself job.

dude... if $130 is too much for struts, then you might wanna consider trading in the maxima for a bicycle cause you're gonna **** if you ever have to replace a transmission or have AC work done.... or take it to a shop to have anything fixed. By doing the struts yourself you are prolly saving 4-500 bucks, don't cheap out and buy crappy ones and then have to replace it all again in a few months.
