crack on my windshield

hey guys. I have a crack on my windshield which started off as a ding right under my wiper. I stupidly left it alone and now it's about 4 inches long. Is there a quick fix for this or would I have to get the whole thing replaced? I really don't want to have to replace the whole thing if I don't have to.

Yea there is nothing you can do with something larger then a rock chip. You will have to replace the whole windshield. It is just gonna keep getting larger the longer you wait pretty soon it will be all the way across the windshield.

you should of done something right after the "ding" put in that glue of w/e they have so the crack doesn't spread...since my car was a highway car i have 2 of em on my windshield both filled with something that keeps it alright for now, although idk how long it's been like that...

wow, thats pretty cheap. But don't stress yourself. I had a rock hit my windshield, i immediately bought the windshield repair kit. Then a week later, another rock hit it about 1 inch over ot hte left. I did the same thing immeditely. Over the winter, after it snowed and the snow melted off, i notice a big crack across the windshield. I'm gonna ahve to replace it soon, but its gonna cost me around $250, its because they come to the hosue and do it. And now i got so much more stuff to fix
