Suspension help ASAP plz.

Hey, so I started to do my suspension and stuff, now i am tryin to compress the stock spring thats installed but there is not enough room for the compressors to even tighten, as it budges into the body of the car at the top not allowing me to compress anymore.

Please help ppl

ummm...dude....i think what ur saying is that you're trying to compress the springs WHILE they're on your car??? if thats so, thats totally wrong and you haven't read enough. You're suppose to take the springs and struts off. You do so by unbolting the two on the bottom that connects to the hub and 3 on top to the top of your chassis. If you do have them off your car, get new spring compressors cause it should happen like that. I have no idea what you're talking about....

take ths struts OFF THE CAR, then compress them.

Why did you try to compress them while still installed?

Speaking of Suspension Kits, I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima. Could someone recommend a kit that will give a superior ride without limiting performance?

Thanks
Shock

Any suspension conversation boils down to an argument in here.
