A/T solenoid

My 95 SE auto w/ 152k has been having some torque converter issues. Sometimes while cruising at highway speeds, if I take my foot off the gas (to coast) and then press back down on it, there is a slight "shudder" when he trans torque converter locks back up. No slipping or anything while shifting, but it only feels like it can't decide whether to lock up or not sometimes.

Someone suggested the shift solenoids could be the problem. Are they difficult to change out? An expensive job?

More than likely, the converter is starting to fail. I don't think a solenoid is your problem.

I'm interested in the solenoids I think mine is leaking. Towards the front of the car.
If you gotta get a torque converter get a high stall, that'd be sweet haha.
