O2 plug bolt specs

Anyone know the thread specs for the O2 sensors? I need to get an O2 plug bolt but can't find one anywhere. I think K&N part # 85-21686 may work, but I would really love to get this local if possible but not sure what size bolt I need. Anyone know? Any hardware stores that have this size bolt stocked?

Thanks

Yea, that'd work. I don't know the bolt specs, but I know I've seen it floating this site before.

can't you just go to autozone and ask for an 02 bung plug? i have a 97-99 catback on my '95, so there's a plug in the 02 bung in the beginning of the b pipe. i have it plugged up w/ a short bolt that i screwed in using an allen wrench. now if i just remember where i got it from..............i think i just asked autozone, it's pretty cheap.

yea, i tried a checker in the area, but they didn't know what i was talking about so i doubt they have one. i suppose it's worth checking for myself. although budget exhaust does have one in stock, but i need it now! haha, it sounds really awful without a plug in it.

I'm confused, why do you want to plug up an O2 sensor bung?

the GReddy SP2 has an O2 bung in the b-pipe just after the cat, but my 96 does not have an O2 sensor there. it was sounding just awful with it open and then i finally found a plug and now it is pure secks!

I see, I bet you lost some performance and mileage w/o it plugged up too.

well it did feel like it would bog down a bit at low rpms.
