small bumper light: park to signal rewire -- front already rewired

Im attempting to rewire my side marker lights, the little parking lights next to the signal. Ive already rewired my bumper signal lights; low on with the parking lights, high as the signal.

I want the side marker to blink with the signal: It would be in sync when parking lights are off, and alternating when parking lights are on. I believe it was JStutter that said one would need a relay if alternating undesireable.

side parking: power, ground
front signal: high, low, ground

First, how would I wire it with a relay?

Second, if I were to skip the relay, would I simply connect the high/signal to the ground on the parking lamp? I believe this is the cliffnotes of the danielsternlighting walkthrough. I ask because I have the front signal already rewired.

Additionally, to verify, to make the 194 bulb in the outter tails blink with the rear turn signal, I would simply clip the power wire on the 194 and splice it to the power wire for the signal, correct?

Thanks!

What you need is a 5 prong bosch style relay. There are the normal power and ground to activate the relay, a main power in for whatever you're trying to power, a prong that's only hot when the relay is inactive and a prong that is only hot when the relay is activated. ground the ground. Tap the front signal wire to activate the relay. Use the stock wiring for the side parking light as the main power and run the light to the prong that is hot when the relay is INACTIVE. Leave the 5th prong unhooked. This will let the light be on when the turn signal's are not in use and turn it off when the turn signal lights up on the front, giving you the alternating lights.
