sunroof won't close help!

My sunroof won't close- it's open up, not back. I can hear the motor going if I try to open it (it's already open), but nothing happens if I try to close it.
any ideas will be appreciated!

PS it also leaked this night, could that be the problem? There is a whole in the rubber that goes around the glass (about 1/10" gap where the ends meet), so I guess I'll have to use silicon there.

try assisting it with your hand, it ain't going to fix it but it should help close it

I tried pushing it down while pressing the switch- nothing..

could it be that the motor is gone? or is it the switch?
