How to get connector off knock sensor

My damn huge hands can BARELY (lots of painful pushing reqd) get in there, it is cutting me up like crazy, and I can't seem to get the damn connector off. I am wanting to bypass it with the resistor trick until I can get a new one to replace it with.

Where do I have to press on that damn connector to get it loose?

Thanks guys!

It's alot easier if you loosen the mounting bolt that's holding it there and go from there. It's easier if you keep it attached and pull it out once the mounting bolt is removed and you pull the whole assembly out from underneath the manifold. If you go the other route, it'll be even harder to put it back on. Use a super long extension and swivel socket to remove the knock sensor.

Yea, I guess I will have to go out and get the tools I need to remove that damn thing.
I had figured I would need a couple extensions, and a joint to use with it but don't have any of the above up here at school

oh boy you just brought back bad memories, i had to change the knock sensor on my max and it was hell i also have large hands and they got cut up horribly. I ended up having to get a flexible extension for a socket and get it off that way, it took about 3 extensions at least for me that worked.

Do as mentioned above and remove the bolt first before taking off the connector. I took the u-clip off with a bent knife but ended up losing it in between the manifold.
