5 pics = 1 mod + 1 question + 2 problems
I'll list them before i post them.
1. i noticed when looking under my car that the y pipe looks almost like its split, like a tiny crack on the front of it. In the picture its on the front about 2 inches below the 02 sensor, a 1 inch crack vertical to the y pipe. you see where it looks like it got hotter around that spot and looks silvery like heat was coming out of it? it doesnt appear to have gone all the way through but i dont know how that cold have happened. it doesnt look like a seam split or anything but if it did i dont htink budget would refund or replace.
2.i have a transmission leak which seems to leak alot cause i've put cardboard under it over night and the puddle has like a 6 inch diameter. but i cant figure out where its coming from. also i have checked the tranny fluid with the dipstick alot lately and there is no sign of it being low. There is so much gunk all over the bottom of the transmission, i tried cleaning it off yesterday. But this is what i saw. I dont know if this is a solenoid but i had a magnet on thte end of it. theres alot of black around it and this is the highest spot that the "gunk" is seen. It also looks like it could be leaking from the bottom of the tranny where that seam is ? anyone have a clue? cause i dont.
3. just for reference, here's a picture of the test pipe im about to put on. well i have the notorious low b-pipe greddy sp2 and i was wondering if yall think an exhaust shop could turn the flange that attaches to the b- pipe about 20 degrees which would turn the whole catback to where it was flush under my car , i dont care if the muffler is tilted a little bit. this wouldnt put any stress on anything else cause im not pushing it up there, thats just the way its positioned. but maybe hangars would prevent it from turning? tell me what you think.
4. figured i'd share this mod i did. my cousin was suggesting i cut out the foglight hole so my CAI could get more air. i figured i'd give this a shot instead. its not the cleanest mod but i need my whole front end repainted and polished and all kinds of stuff. i just cut out the little strips that stick out on the foglight with a dremel, was kind of a hassle. whatchall htink

Thanks. It was just a really hard thing to cut. And the plastic kept melting and flying on my face.
Thank god for safety glasses.
I plan on smoothing it out a little more and maybe reinforcing it with an unnoticable black mesh from the inside.
I really need to just get everything repainted but my wallet disagrees. My wallet says 3.5.

I see nothing wrong with your Y pipe.
That sensor is crank position (POS) and it's on the bell housing, not your transmission per say. There is no fluid in the case that sensor is bolted onto. It's looking at the flywheel.

Hmm alright thanks man.
Ill post a better pic of the y pipe in a lil while when I'm on the comp.
I gotta find that tranny leak...they seem so hard to fix. If I had to seperate something to put a gasket that'd be hard wouldn't it?~

I wouldnt worry about your ypipe, if you really want to fix it, just have it welded. No point in going through all the trouble to get budget to fix it.
As for the "leak", like njmaxseltd said, there is no tranny fluid in the bell housing, thats probably motor oil comming form the upper oil pan and or RMS.
You wasted your money on that test pipe, it wont do anything except make your car sound like ****.

The fluid leaking out is red, I've seen it on my garage floor a bright pink color.
And if the test pipe doesn't do anything or sounds like **** ill just sell it. No big deal.
But imagine if it straightened my exhaust, wouldn't that be the sh*t?
