HID Question

I jut put HID's on my 4th gen. I have a question; Could I power 2 sets of bulbs off of the same Ballaster and Ingniter? Would it burn out or something? I have an extra set of bulbs (just the bulbs) and I was thinking about doing it in my fogs. Anyone know what will happen?

Well unless you have the plugs, it's physically impossible. Either way, don't do it. It's too much stress for the ballasts and ignitors.

No, do not power more than 1 bulb per ballast. Don't go cheap on your parts because you will end up paying more for failed replacements. For your fogs, I would recommend you pick up a pair of Matsu****a ballasts from other HID-equipped Nissan vehicles since they are relatively water resistant.

Your ballasts are rated at 35w, not 70w.

And please tell me you did a retro, and not just a 9004 HID kit...

Bollox to this HID stuff, think I'll get a carbon arc searchlight for the roof and tow a generator behind the car, for power. Now I can see the whites of their eyes...
