acetone on gauges

just wondering if anybody knows if wiping acetone on the backside of an se's gauge will clear out the blue filter on the gauge. basically i gotten my led's in the cluster real bright and focused now. but w/ the blue filter on the back, no matter what, they still turn out a bit blue. i'd really like to get them just a nice solid white...

Acetone etches into plastics...it may ruin the gauges.

Acetone is pretty flammable too. Nasty stuff.

if you had seen what acetone does to plastic, you wouldn't be asking this question

Acetone makes plastics have a clouded appearence, if your paper has any plastic on it id say its a bad idea
