I replaced my rear shocks and i realized that i didnt put back the bound bumper? is this a bad problem, i thought it was a part of the torn up boot dust cover so i discarded it, i feel better control wit da new shocks but it still hit a little hard sometimes, but i dunno any insight?

 

The bump stop?

I would trim those down a little bit and re-install. You need to have SOME kind of bumpstop to prevent major damage to the strut in very harsh situations.
