I already know that almost every part is interchangable between 95-99 which is why i'm confused when I see 96-00

Is there a serious reason why everywhere fidanza flywheels are sold they say it's for a 96-00 Maxima?

early made 95 production maximas have 8 bolts on the crank and not 9. Or something like that its off by 1 bolt.

 

why dont they have 01 on there?

 

That sucks about the 95, but I have a 01 motor, anyone know why the flywheel won't work on an 01?

i was wondering about the 01 thing as well as i did a 5spd swap on my 98 maxima using an 01 tranny with LSD... it worked.. might be an error?

just remember to reuse the ring gear that's bolted on to your stock flywheel otherwise the fidanza ones wont work (car wont start)

 

i think its an error on their part. aftermarket companies do that a lot. but if you look up the part numbers for oem type flywheels/replacements the 95 carries the same flywheel part number as the 96-01. i specificly looked up each different year and theyre all the same. so the fidanza flywheel should work for all years from 95-01.

 

dude, i have a fidanza fly wheel and act stage 2 carbon/kevlar on my 1995 SE.........

 

If Im not mistaken the Fidanza bolts up fine on 95s production date 04/95 and up. 03/95 and back (like me!) the bolt pattern is different, and thus wont bolt up

 

Really? I've taken apart 2 early production 95 maxes, yours being one of them, and the other my manual swap parts car, and they had as many bolts as my 98 had. I know they're early production because they only had one plug for the TPS, and emissions related stuff was totally different. that and the RUST.
