Wiper Blades Streaking

My wiper blades are starting to streak my windshield when I turn them on. Is this something that can be fixed or do I need new blades? And If I need new blades what kind of blades should I ask for since I asked for blades for a MAX around 6 months ago and they gave me those (around $20) and they're already going bad.

IIRC, OEM are just Bosch wipers that you can get at Pep Boys, etc. Stealership hit me up for replacements last inspection and they streaked worse after replacement.

Clean your windshield good before putting on the new wipers and keep the windshield clean (clean the blade from time to time and make sure that there isnt dirt under the blade - I do this at the gas station when I'm filling up). There's also the RainX water repellent that comes in a bottle that you can apply on your windshield (I get it from Walmart)

Use some alcohol to clean the blades, whether it's a swab or just dumped onto a paper towel. You'll be amazed at how much dirt there's on there.

Anyone ever remember that 'as seen on tv' gadget you could use to resharpen your wiper blades? I wonder where you can find those.
