weird noise....???

When i started my car this mourning it sounded awfully weird. I only way i can think of to describe the noise is, have you ever had an RC car and tried rolling it without it being on? thats almost exactly what is sounds like,
and just as if u were to push the RC car faster the pitch of the sound gets higher, same with my car when i begin to accelerate the noise gets higher. But luckly the noise went away after i ate lunch. But i want to address any potential problems my car my have to face as soon as possible.

Also my steering it very loose, i don't know if my steering has anyrealtion to my problem but i figure all the information i give you gets, the better.

oh yea i have a 95 automatic

Guys don't you read the whole post for clues?
First he says it was making a noise like a model car. OK I can imagine that.
Then later he says the steering seemed loose. And none of you - so far - connected the two things?
Seems to me the first thing to check is the flipping power steering reservoir for sufficient fluid!!!

either the Power Steering pump is going bad or the Alternator is burning out.

+2 for the power steering pump needing fluid, the hoses on mine always worked themselves loose every few months. Make sure you don't over tighten them if that's your problem.
