i know this sounds wierd as hell, anyone with a 97-99, could someone measure as accuratly as possible the distance between the top middle of the grille and the hood. I was in a small accident and pulled out the radiator support and hood latch myself, but the hood isnt quite flush with the fenders. Either tthe hood is bent (which it is a little), or the hood latch needs to be pushed down so the hood be flush. I think this is the case as the gap looks a little bigger then it used to, but it could be in my head. I dont really know anyone else with a max, so hopefully someone can help me out thanks

 

.... did u try adjusting the hood stop or resting rubber seats... there above the corner light connectiong area... its liek a rubber... minature hockey puck.....

yeah i unscrewed them all the way already, if i recall, one meets up barely and one doesnt, but the hood can be rocked back and forth on the hood latch, only one side can be flush at one time. im trying to figure out if the hood is bent like that, or if the hood latch needs to be lowered a bit
